Presenting Concerns: I work with adults experiencing difficulties such as:

Approach: I welcome you into an inclusive space that’s dedicated to working toward what’s meaningful to you. Challenges are part of the shared human experience, and where we have navigated through difficulty in the past, we may find that our current strategies may no longer be serving us. Exploring helpful ways to work with unpleasant experiences, deepen self-awareness, and develop a toolbox of skills is at the core of my work with you. I aim to bring in warmth and humour to therapy, while meeting you where you’re at without judgement. Sessions are relaxed and tailored to your unique needs.

My approach draws largely from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches, and I incorporate elements of other techniques including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

Training/Experience: I received a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Dalhousie University, in addition to completion of extensive psychotherapy coursework and training through various institutions including the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health and the University of Toronto. Since 2015, I've been providing mental health care in a variety of settings as a regulated healthcare provider.
