Presenting Concerns: I support adults experiencing:
Anxiety (e.g., social anxiety, phobias, panic)
Burnout/Work Stressors
Borderline Personality Disorder
Emotion Dysregulation and Anger
Developmental Trauma
Domestic Abuse
Approach: My therapeutic approach is to communicate using authenticity and honesty– working to develop a rapport where difficult things feel safe to talk about. I work to support clients with a compassion focused lens– balancing acceptance-based strategies, with change. My ultimate goal is to support clients, working at their own pace towards building their life worth living, and adopting curiosity about their own unique values and goals.
Training/Experience: I am a Clinical Psychologist, with a Masters in Counselling Psychology. I have training in evidenced-based approaches such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Prolonged Exposure, and EMDR. My previous experience includes working within various settings such as Non-Profit, Employee and Family Assistance, and private practice work where I have supported client populations that include first responders, veterans, and RCMP among others.
About Me: When I’m not working, I enjoy reading, travel, and evolving my skills in the kitchen!
