(he/him/his)
Presenting Concerns: I help adult clients experiencing challenges with:
Anxiety (social anxiety, generalized anxiety and problematic worry)
Workplace Injuries and Return to Work
Emotion Dysregulation and Anger
Interpersonal and Relationship Issues
Approach: I am a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) whose passion lies in assisting individuals who are looking to strengthen their independence and enhance their quality of life. Understanding that recovery is never linear, I enjoy collaborating with clients to develop meaningful goals that enhance their ability to thrive in their daily functioning. I believe in the inherent dignity and worth of each individual and aim to foster a therapeutic relationship built on trust, resilience, and mutual respect.
My aim is to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental, safe space where we can incorporate a holistic treatment approach. My practice draws largely from a Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) background. I also lean on other techniques which include Motivational Interviewing (MI) and mindful-based practice.
Training: I received a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto. I have over a decade of experience of working with diverse young adults, adults, and seniors, with a range of mental health issues and diagnoses. I have provided counselling individually and in groups through community agencies, private practices, and hospitals, including ten years spent working at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).

About Me: I love exploring new places, especially if I can catch a sports event as well. Spending time with my family, and friends is how I refuel myself. I am an advocate for improving mental health awareness, and breaking down stigma and it has led me to become a national speaker with the Mental Health Commission of Canada.
