Camilla Rutschmann, M.Sc., RP(Q)
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
(she/her/hers)
Presenting Concerns: I offer therapy for adults struggling with various difficulties, including:
Stress and burnout
Interpersonal and relationship issues
Low self-esteem and identity development
Approach: My approach to therapy begins with gaining an understanding of you and your goals for therapy. I’m passionate about helping you identify thoughts, emotions, and behaviours that lead you to feel stuck and will work with you to develop strategies and insights that will lead to long-lasting change and growth.
I believe that the foundation of effective therapy lies in the strength of the therapeutic relationship. I’m committed to fostering a space that is warm, supportive, non-judgmental, and safe for all. My approach is collaborative and each session is tailored to meet your particular needs. While my practice is grounded in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), I also integrate other approaches, such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Mindfulness, and Attachment-based therapy.
Training/Experience: I have a Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology and Neuroscience and am licensed with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). In addition to my private practice experience, I have worked in specialized treatment centres for depression, burnout, and personality disorders in Zurich, Switzerland.
